This sedimentary stone, formed in shallow seas, is composed mainly of calcite calcium carbonate. It is common for this stone to have pits/voids, which do not affect its durability, maintenance, or beauty. One of the unique characteristics of this limestone is the presence of small shells and fossils that may appear throughout the tile.
